I have practiced law in Dallas-Fort Worth since 1987. After 11 years at a large downtown law firm, McDonald Sanders, in Fort Worth, Texas, including 6 years as an equity owner, I formed the Law Office of Mark B. French in 1999.

I have earned the designation as a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In order to obtain this certification, I was required to establish my expertise through a day-long exam, a peer review by consumer bankruptcy lawyers and judges, and a personal inventory of consumer bankruptcy cases.

I also have an AV ,A - preeminent attorney, V - very high general ethical standards rating in the Martindale Hubbell Legal Directory. This is the highest rating given and it is based on confidential survey responses of attorneys and judges. I am also a member of the John C. Ford Chapter of the American Inns of Court, an organization dedicated to helping lawyers become more effective advocates and counselors with a keener ethical awareness.

Additionally, I am a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Bankruptcy Bar Association, Northeast Tarrant County Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
